Hi @KavinTech,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for the detailed explanation. Based on your description, your Victus by HP 15-fb0000 laptop is:
- Shutting down during heavy tasks like Adobe rendering.
- Not turning back on unless plugged in, even though the battery shows 100%.
- Making a glitching noise from the left side (likely near the fan or power circuitry).
This strongly suggests a power delivery or thermal issue, possibly involving the battery, power management system, or thermal throttling. Here's how to troubleshoot it:
1. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press Esc repeatedly, then F2 to enter diagnostics.
- Run:
- Battery Test
- Thermal Test
- System Extensive Test
Let me know the results, especially if the battery test fails.
2. Update BIOS and Drivers
- Go to HP Support: Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support.
- Download and install:
- Latest BIOS
- Chipset drivers
- HP System Event Utility
- Thermal and Power Management drivers
3. Check Battery Health in Windows
- Press Windows + X > Windows Terminal (Admin).
- Type: powercfg /batteryreport
- It will generate a report in your user folder. Open it and check:
- Design Capacity vs Full Charge Capacity
- If the battery is degrading or not delivering full power.
4. Use HP Command Center or OMEN Gaming Hub
- Open HP Command Center or OMEN Gaming Hub.
- Set Thermal Profile to Performance or Cool.
- Monitor CPU/GPU temps during rendering.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi VikramTheGreat,
I Tried those you given Methods, Thanks but still it have some Drawbacks like Battery Drain more as usual and 30% of battery comes with 10 Mintues when Rendering a Video and while Browsing or using other Applications it runs with 20 - 24% per 1/2 hours. I tried Updating, Troubleshooting via HP Diagnosis in startup. when i check in Diagnosis there is no Thermal or Battery Issue founds i tried more than 10 times there is such a no issues found but even i don't know why battery draining then normal
