My all-in-computer has suddently decided it doesn't want to "wake up" when I jiggle my mouse after it has gone to sleep and I have to turn the power off and reboot. This is realy annoying because there are times I just want to jump online for a quick search, while other times I may be on for a couple of hours. Having to reboot every time is not normal. Is there a particular setting I should look for to make sure jiggling my mouse will wake up my computer?

@LADYJANCO, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Let Mouse and Keyboard Wake the PC
Right-click Start → Device Manager
Open Mice and other pointing devices
Right-click your mouse → Properties
Go to Power Management tab
Check “Allow this device to wake the computer”
Do the same under Keyboards
Change Power Settings
Go to Settings → System → Power & battery
Click Additional power settings
Click Change plan settings → then Change advanced power settings
Find these and change:
USB selective suspend → Disabled
Allow hybrid sleep → Off
Allow wake timers → Enabled
Update Drivers
In Device Manager, right-click:
Your mouse
Your keyboard
Your display adapter (graphics card)
Choose Update driver → Search automatically
Turn Off Fast Startup
Go to Control Panel → Power Options
Click Choose what the power buttons do
Click Change settings that are currently unavailable
Uncheck Turn on fast startup
Click Save
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
