Microsoft Windows 11

We have an issue with a couple of our headsets, the headset disconnects from both laptop and the BT adapter.
The headset have full power, but never connects with the devices again.

An alternative and not great fix is to discharge the headset over time till it reaches 0 procent, then charge it up again. This "reboots" the BT funktion in the headset and it works again like before.

But this is not a great or permanent fix.
- Have anyone experienced something similar or have a better way to fix this issue?

We can create a return with HP, but even the new headsets share the same issue over time.

Hi @SABG, Welcome to the Poly HP Support Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Voyager Surround 85 headset. I completely understand how important it is to have your device working seamlessly, especially when it plays a key role in your daily activities.

To assist you in resolving the issue, I kindly recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Update the Firmware: Please verify and update the headset firmware using the Poly Lens application on your PC.
  2. Set as Default Device: Make sure the headset is set as the default audio device on both your PC and softphone.
  3. Reinstall the Driver: If you're using a Windows PC, uninstall the headset driver via Device Manager, then reconnect the headset to allow Windows to reinstall the driver automatically.
  4. Reset the Headset: Try resetting the headset using the Poly Lens application.

If the issue still persists after these steps, I would recommend reaching out to HP Support. Our support engineers are equipped to investigate further and help resolve the issue efficiently. You can reach HP Support through the following link:
