@Monirul_Arvi, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding battery issue on your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP notebook battery is not charging, consider the following steps to troubleshoot and address the issue:
Check the Power Connections
- Ensure that you are using the correct AC adapter and power cord that came with your notebook.
- Verify that the power connector, power cord, and electrical outlet are all securely connected.
- Confirm that the electrical outlet is working by plugging another device into it.
Inspect the Battery
- Turn off the notebook and unplug it from the external power source.
- Remove the battery from the notebook.
- Check the battery contacts and the area where the battery connects to the notebook for any debris or damage.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Disconnect all external devices from the notebook.
- Hold down the power button for at least 15 seconds.
- Reinsert the battery, reconnect the power adapter, and turn on the notebook.
Update Battery Driver
- Turn on the notebook and connect it to external power.
- Open the Device Manager (You can search for it in the Start menu).
- Expand the Batteries section, right-click "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" and select "Update driver."
Test with Another Power Adapter
If possible, try using an alternative, compatible HP power adapter to see if the issue persists.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
